Bob Jones wins third straight NCCAA D-II volleyball championship

GREENVILLE, S.C.  Bob Jones University (BJU) captured its third-straight NCCAA DII Women’s Volleyball National Championship after defeating No. 3 seeded Dallas Christian College. The Bruins beat the Crusaders 3-2 (25-15, 25-22, 23-25, 24-26, 17-15) in a thrilling match and finished the tournament 15-4 in sets.

The No. 2 seeded Bruins beat No. 6 Alice Lloyd College in their first match 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-9). BJU then defeated No. 5 Toccoa Falls College 3-1 (24-26, 25-13, 25-15, 25-19) and No. 3 Dallas Christian 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 26-24). In the semifinals, the Bruins knocked off No. 1 Maranatha Baptist University 3-1 (25-22, 25-14, 21-25, 25-18).

BJU’s Victoria Glaze was named the Tournament Most Outstanding Player. The All-Tournament Team and other awards are listed HERE.
