GREENWOOD – The Lander men’s basketball team is changing up its non-conference schedule, with the Bearcats now traveling to Chattanooga, Tenn., to take on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs for the season opener on Wednesday, November 25.

The Bearcats were originally supposed to start the season with a battle against USC Aiken at Finis Horne Arena this coming Tuesday. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools. The Mocs are coming off a 20-13 season that saw them lose to Wofford 72-70 in the SoCon Semifinals. This will be classified as an exhibition match for the Bearcats and will not count toward their overall record.

There will be no spectators at McKenzie Arena for the contest. However, fans will be able to watch the Bearcats on ESPN3 or ESPN+. Further streaming details will be announced later.
