Limestone picked to edge Converse in Conference Carolinas Acrobatics and Tumbling preseason poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – While the top four teams from the 2021 Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship remain the same, the order has changed in the 2022 Conference Carolinas Preseason Coaches Poll as Limestone was picked to win the crown.

The No. 2 seed last spring, Limestone collected 59 points and five-of-nine first-place votes to edge 2021 champion Converse who tallied 58 points and two first-place tallies. 2021 regular-season champion King was picked third with 52 points and the remaining two first-place votes while Belmont Abbey was picked fourth with 44 points.

Coker was picked to finish fifth with 35 points followed by Lander (31), Emmanuel (18), Mars Hill (17) and Chowan (10).

The regular season begins on Thursday, Feb. 3 with the conference championship slated for April 9-10 at King University in Bristol, Tennessee.
